Ricoh Ibrahim Cry Foul Over IDP Manifesto

The restive admirer of once his hatred executive cited foul over the manifesto of the Islamic Democratic Party (IDP). He said that the manifesto of IDP is, from word to word, the manifesto of his recently registered Maldivian Social Democratic Party (MSDP). Speaking on the (soap opera) political verandah on the Television Maldives (TVM) Mr. Ibrahim Maniku said that it was his idea of making 5 separate zones of this nation which he said was stolen by the IDP. He said the concept idea originated during the registration of his party. The IDP commenting on the statement made by Ricoh Ibrahim, the leader of the IDP Mr. Umar Naseer said that IDP was registered much earlier and long before the MSDP had come to share the political arena. Umar said that he had submitted to register IDP in 2005 and was registered in December 12, 2005. He said if we had registered a year eelier than the MSDP he must have had submitted the manifesto with registration submission. He said his manifesto had the concept of establishing and making the country divided into 5 regions. He said if he is to steal it he had no idea of the MSDP or its becoming a political party. Earlier one of the founder members of the party Mr. Arif had said that the manifesto of the MSDP was produced by Arif himself and controversial changes were brought to it by Ricoh Ibrahim Maniku. Now Ibrahim Maniku claims the authenticity of the concept for a party that was registered one year and 13 days earlier to his MSDP.
