BEST AIR CONNECTS DHAKA TO MALE' VIA COLOMBO

Best Air connects Dhaka to Male’ via Colombo

Best Air, a charter operation based in Bangladesh have started scheduled operations to the Male’ with flights on Fridays and Mondays. The flight Boeing 737-200 will connect the capital of Bangladesh Dhaka to Male’ with a stop-over in Colombo. The first flight operated on 28th July.

A return fare to Dhaka will cost US$ 700 and a return fare to Colombo will cost US$ 260, according to Best Air Overseas Charter Travels Limited, the General Sales Agent in Male’.

With more than an estimated 50,000 Bangladeshi workers in the Maldives, the route is expected to become very popular, according the operator. This connection is also expected to boost trade links between the two countries.

The airline received permission to operate seven flights a week, but it has decided to operate flights on Friday and Monday at the initial stage.
